I fled from earth's boundaries

To escape from my duties

And insecurities

Mistakes and troubles

And you.

I left this world because I can't live on the same planet as you.

I'll tell myself I'm helping others

I'll promise that I'm doing the right thing

But I am sad

And from sadness do I flee

I am a cowboy

And you are my lovely lass

But I'm not good enough

And so I have left

Find yourself a good man

Find someone who will try to love you more than I did

They won't be able to

They sure as hell can try though

But you can't find me

Because I don't want to be found

Not until I'm far, far away

And a distant speck in your memory

Squint to think you know me

But shake your head and keep walking

When we by chance bump shoulders

In five years time
