For Just
"For Just"
Looking about the world, whose hands are lifted, open
Praying for just a chance,
For just a hope,
For just a dream,
One sees the pain and practically is frozen
In place for just a moment,
For just a time,
For just a second.
To stop and see people for who they really are, now,
Crying out for just a rescue,
For just a healing,
For just a Savior,
The thought convicts the soul to reach back and love how
God does, for just a man,
For just a woman,
For just a child.
After all, we all search for that outstretched hand,
Don’t we, for just a season,
For just a year,
For just a life.
Who are we to deny this love,
Sent so mercifully from above,
To just anyone?
Thus to action we needs be raised, in this land
For they; for just a human,
For just a soul,
For just an eternity.
