Just America

Stop do not not pass go the cards say

But all I have for me and my family is a VISA that says USA

And is it really our fault that we are different because of our DNA

From Calais to Monterrey and Bombay

The American dream exists everywhere I dare say

But The freedom begins to look more and more gray every day

So right now all of us really need to pray

Since the authorities are trying to take American liberty away.

When their ancestors came to this country from a land very far away

They were auctioned off into the toxic American way.

You Know what they say, Rome wasn’t built in one day

But here in the states it was built upon some starving social castaways

Working on plantation somewhere south of their master’s buffet

And 400 years later they are still held down by society’s chains.

But the police, they don’t care to meet them halfway

When they see black crime they insist on making them learn the hard way And that’s why so many young Americans stop seeing the light of day.
