Just Another Day

Just another day just another one of seven inside of a week where - i go to school dis - learning material dare - i break the rules listening to teachers blame rappers for destroying our youth struggles today shooting down every word in the lyric they say rapper arent helpful to our teens futures wasnt the case for me sitting in the back of the class hearing pusha t spittin bout drugs and that's da truth you see i've been inside the booth and i know that they know that when i speak i speak the truth so lets not shoot down that mans truth because it's only the black mans version of the american dream parents sitting inside screaming why things can go right my baby's throwed to the left well if they keep being forced to the left they'll eventually end up write like i do sitting in my room mixin it up on the paper so open up your mind and let me feed it food for thought you see i ain't writing for my self im writing for my people i ain't tryna insult your intellegence because the goes for me too willie lynch says if you control the mind you control the man and notice i said says because even thoe he is dead his black truth still controls some of our heads well in time my brothers n sisters(white and black) that's why i'm fighting with this word so we can control our own minds instead dig - it
