Just Another Girl

You’re just another girl

but I miss you when you’re here

and I want you when you’re gone

just another girl

who won’t remember me one day

who I watch as you move on

away from me

our feet

are almost touching

yet so far apart

my heart’s

about to stop

I can’t believe

that you’re here

next to me

right now

I’ll never confess

to you

I’ll make a mess

of what I tried to build

maybe tomorrow

you’ll become

just another girl

but I miss you when you’re here

and I want you when you’re gone

just another girl

who won’t remember me one day

who I watch as you move on

away from me.
