Just another high school kid, under grown, out grown
When you sit in one place,
seemlessly alone.
But no,
surronded by student after student,
group after group of oblivious kids.
It's easy for questions to cirlce my mind here.
Do any of these people care?
Are we really here just to socialize?
To laugh about boys and girls?
Purpose,
they all seem to lack it
and inside I'm wondering,
Why am I stuck,
surronded by all this nothing?
I want out.
I want to walk away
and never come back
because to me this looks like failure,
feels like it too.
We go to school looking to fit in,
I don't want to anymore,
I want to do this on my own.
No longer do I desire belonging
as much as exceeding.
Used to,
but how's about a year later,
nows the time to find priority.
To find the bigger cause.
Out grown?
I'm finally out growing highschool
while the rest,
they're still stuck in that under grown state.
