Just Another Night

Late at night
Vodka on my breath
Can't sleep, can't escape
Need to get away
Shadows in my mind
Showing under my eyes
Will to live fades
With the light of the day
Struggling to breathe
Waiting for another cigarette
Needing to live again
Stop pretending perfection
Little girl grew up
Not so pretty now
Want to get away
Need a way how
Darkness in my brain
Thoughts fuzzy more
Just need to slow my head
Just need to pretend once more
Don't know how much longer I can
They think I am kidding
Can't take it anymore
Writers block hits
Silences me forever
