Just Another Poem

Life was simple and true till the day I met you. Standing there, without a care. When we first met, I was caught in your net.

And as if it was an explosion of a supernova, you called me a fool when it was all over. I didn’t think it could be true, till I finally found myself falling for you.

As the months and years passed, I was unable to see the wreckage that was soon to be. Way back when you didn't attack, there was no need for combat.

But now that everything is over and gone, we both have seen the damage that we have done. I am here and where oh where could you ever be?

Forever goes by in a minute and I forgot to click in for the ride. And now, all this could ever be, is just another cliché for the night.
