Just Another Poem About Humanity

Put down the pen for just a moment.

Writing doesn't feed the poor.

Pamphlets cannot house an orphan,

Fliers don't eradicate gore.

You're offended by middle fingers,

But war and famine are okay.

You're offended by women's shoulders

While infant lives are beaten away.

Stop the preaching, the boasts of service,

Doing good for publicity.

You're relying on other people.

Leave the chair and do something.

We can change the world for better!

There is nothing we can't do!

Slothfulness destroys our planet.

Act now. They depend on you.

Our world
