just another Wednesday

The morning sky looks the same

The days just passing by

Blood poured out form the sky

the grave weight of the world hanging in the air

Wednesday

Cold feet on the tile floor the world spun

Brain weary from the thoughts that swirled through her

pills in hand they rushed down her throat

again

Wrinkled hoodie pulled overhead a sour smell radiating

Rain dribbled down the cristial glass window

Rattling hands clitterdred on the steering wheel

Alone

The smell of the liquor was familiar

Red wine in hand

Conversations of others faded into the background

wednesday

The days flow together all into one

Tuesdays becoming thursdays. To wednesdays becoming fridays.

Together but apart. Each unique part of the days mashed into one

Forgotten

Laughter and singing was blasphemy

In her face of sorrow

There was no tomorrow

Only the slow day of

wednesday

Wednesday they say a forgotten soul

But if no one there to care for her the days just pass her by

The morning air the same stinge of alcohol

Shut of in her path

Gone

Wednesday
