Still smiling

I think growing up happens too quickly, Too quickly that it's too late to realise what's happening, When I realise I grew up, I seem to forget about what's next, Every day when I smile, people see a happy person, That happy person is secretly wrecked, Their heart is torn into four, Their mind is no longer here, I'm that person, Every day the pressure builds up, and the only thing keeping me up is me, I don't know who to trust, If my heart splits again, I don't know what to do, It is permanently damaged, And even though there is so much on my mind, I never forgot to smile for the people around me.
