Just Because I

Just because I’m not crying It doesn't mean I am happy Doesn't mean that I am a perfect person Doesn't mean I am not broken Don’t believe everything you see me show Just because I’m quiet It doesn't mean that I’m anti-social Doesn't make me a weirdo Doesn't mean I’m not intelligent Talk to me and find out who I truly am Just because I’m different It doesn't mean I don’t have friends Doesn't mean I don’t have feelings Doesn't mean you have to push me away I am different because I like standing out and not being what the world says is “normal Just because I’m laughing It doesn't mean my life at home is good Doesn't mean I am not feeling alone Doesn't mean everything is going right I laugh to make people believe I’m OK but they never take the time to really check Just because I’m me It doesn't mean I can’t be girly Doesn't mean the only thing I listen to is heavy metal Doesn't mean I don’t have a life besides video games Figure me out and I promise you’ll see a lot more than meets the eye
