Just Being Real

People say I'm gifted

I just actin like I missed it

Cuz I'm usually a giver

Not a taker that's for granted

Real people are mostly missin

True respect is hard to vision

Reality got me tripping

Spend most of my days just dreaming

When I should pay them by prayer

Cause I know my God is greater

Splinter stuck up in my eye

Trying to get around waiver

For my sin cause only God knows where I've been

Sitting around still imagining

Hearing the answer

But not listening

My flesh has still got me giving in

What does it take for a man to change

Change my heart make it rearrange

My struggles got me changing lanes

Heading off road no paved ways

Got the Eminem feel

Recovery just got real

Hungry soul needs a meal

Grab that Word its for real

Andy Mineo & Tripe Lee got me thinking

Bout what it takes to be a man of God

Cause I keep sinking

Theres a storm in my way

Jesus reaching out now

Stepped back onto the water

Still keep falling through now

Just tired of crying Holy

When I'm not living Holy

King of kings Prince of peace

Still trying to show me

Faith out weighs sin but be a true example to others

Because without love everyone would just keep

Keep keep keep suffering keep suffering

Now I just got you thinking wondering

Theres gotta be something more to live for then all this sin

Don't need all that money don't need that attention
