Just a Boy

Friends have been hard to obtain,

But nonetheless I've had my share.

Music's always kept me sane

When I thought no one seemed to care.

Baseball was a milestone

That kept me active every year.

Arts and crafts and a ringing phone,

And I finally got to dye my hair.

Disney trips and airplane rides,

Crying when I couldn't bare

Seattle rain or California skies

I never know just what to wear.

My family helps me start the trend

So you know that I'm truly rare.

But all I am is just a boy

And I know life just isn't fair.
