Just Cranky Mossy Tale
Cranky mossy rocks I see
In dreamy circuit a century away
Of veiled beginning, unending chains
Distant happenings
Challenging to explain
Rocky outcrop in tilt cottage
Frontyard leaning, cracking
Subsiding in a twisty torque tail
Engraved note ancient and clear
Tells a story entitled
'Just Cranky Mossy Tale'
Blue hue sparrow squeaks with laughter
Along with daisy and daffodil
As they gather on rocky patch meadow
To hear 'Just Cranky Mossy Tale'
