Just feel something

What are dreams?

I thought I had some,

once.

I thought I knew

where I was going.

Now there's no motivation,

only apathy

and resentment

toward everything

outside of my head.

As you screamed at me today

I felt nothing.

But the me buried inside

managed to shout

from my prison cell:

"Just feel something!"
