Just to Help

Some people can make other people laugh

Some people can make other people glisten

Some people just make other people’s lives better

All around

And then there are the other people

Those are the special people

They take you to a place you’ve never been

They make you glow

They make you

Laugh

Smile

Live life fully

They make you want to be with them

I like those people

I want to be that person

I want to make your life better

Happier

Fuller

I want to bring out the best in you

I want to make you feel loved

Wanted

Special

Because you are

How can I be that person to you?

You hide inside yourself

Pulled away from the world

Lost in your thoughts

How can I reach you?

How can I show you

How much you mean

To me

To your family?

I want to make you glow

I want to make you shine

But you pull away

I can’t reach you

I want to show you love

Happiness

I want to show you how much life can be

If you’ll let me

Why won’t you let me?

Why can’t you trust me

Just

Once?
