Just like him

I like you but I fear you are just like him The moment our eyes met my heart filled to the brim The first time we embraced I already sensed goodbye I truly like you, though I feel your much like him The slow responses and lack of feeling, leaving my heart to mend Years from now I'll still be haunted by the simple things So as my pen bleeds true passion My eyes count the dot speckled ceiling The beating heart waiting for love that will never come Relieving tears I shall not feel For my pride and insanity leaves wounds unhealed Instead rubs it raw so I never forget the feel No false hope you attempt to give Through this disappointment I will still live A life full of love and peace and no regrets i leave
