Just Imagine
“ Just Imagine “
In a crowded world or crowded scene.
Where the love and important means are over-shadowed by the unsatisfying, temporary, worldly things like.
Cell phones & ipods or cameras & tripods.
You see,
We drink these things to quench that thirst but wait.
Don’t allow these words to hurt thee
These words are only meant to penetrate souls but still those souls are left thirsty.
For what ?
The word of god,
You see that truth we lay beside.
But its hard, when on the inside we are beside ourselves.
& the only that can help lays inside a shelf of dust & debree or pain & defeat.
You see
Even the bible tells us to be still & know that I am god but who do you know ?
In a place where people know less about themselves and more about their cell phones or that new mac book pro
But when all that goes or whenever you decide to let go, You tell me.
What is it that you have Left ?
Left overs, Like that new range rover you went head over heels over.
You see
We put such great value on these symplistic and stylistic things to the point of mental institution and confusion.
& instead of chasing after god & chasing after the word we use these materialistic things as substitution
For our spiritual prostitution.
Spirits that are tough in physicality but weak in faith.
You see
Its on the inside where the love & the hate & the
Pain & the aches
Allows our inner man to
Rot and Decay
But Just imagine
If we turned of the internet
& stopped worshipping those idols, & spent all that time reading our bibles.
Just Imagine
Me saying these words in hopes that you would take it, & we encouraged one another to make it, & put a little love right there where the hate is.
Just Imagine
If we turned off the cell phones & the cameras & the tripods.
And spent all that time worshipping our god & not icons.
Just Imagine
If these words had enough power to change
Thoughts & Goals
Highs & Lows
& Even Minds & Souls
Just Imagine .
