Just Listen

The second i open my eyes - i'm learning

Half my life is spent in school

Trapped between four walls

I see the door but i can't escape

I see the winodws but i still can't breathe

I look at you talking

And talking

And talking

But everything that is coming out of your mouth is not going into through my head

I get bad grades

And you tell me you care but do you really?

I work and try harder everyday

But what's the point?

I end up breaking and burning myself

I just want you to listen

For the staff to listen

To hear me out..

To see that students are dying from the pressure

So teach me

Not just academics

But to reach out to us, students

Teach us how to live

Help us breath

Help us fly

Help us become our own person

I just want to tell you..

Just Listen
