Just a Little Feeling Into It

All because I never wanted attention I feel I'm almost unmentioned In the mind. I'm in a bind. What can set me free From these emotions that won't let me be.? They came along from this shining star. I don't think It will leave my sight by far, Nor too soon. Though It's gone by time of noon. It comes every day To this one place that we convey Gestures that may resemble Things before seen in an ensemble Of performing dancers. Oh, how i wish to be her prancer. The joy of fulfilling a dream That would come to be somewhat Like love as intricate as a beam. Action from within will help with reaching. Connections will pull together Just for the reality of being close. Differences are accounted for. Connection can move those out the door Of another's mind who undergoes Thoughts of higher judging woes. What could She be thinking While I only sit here gazing As She passes me by Showing me the true her, Without a doubt, And not giving me a glare. I'm so missing out On all the dreams I could make happen. Only because I don't want to get crackin'. No, I won't do it.! It's not me, I don't do that. I've got my mind, And its full of wit*. Something that most people Can't put under their lid. I feel like only being passive. Then I won't ever get massive In character for anyone Who gets too close. This son, Right here, is too deep to be noticed When in his own shell of a tortoise.

I call myself Hakeem Soulchild. In translation, I am wise and honorable, in tune with my soul, and my heart feels free as a child. To me, the most inspiring musical artist is Musiq Soulchild. I learned about love and the ways of a gentleman from his albums. "Of all our possessions, wisdom alone is immortal."--Isocrates "Whoever knows many things by nature is a poet."--Pindar
