Just a Little Light

Life is good

life is great

because of the food

you fed my fate.

I have learned to be honest

I have learned to be fair

just like I promised

with a breathe of fresh air.

I thank you so much

that you saw some truth

and did not misjudge

during my fountain of youth.

You saw as clear as day,

what lay before you,

did not sway,

but simply knew.

I thank you for your guidance

you taught me right from wrong

I did not show defiance

any long.
