Just a Little Longer

Just a little longer please

This thing called life is moving too fast.

I can’t keep up

The current held me back somewhere along the way.

They all say they are ready but I still want to stay

When does one know they are ready?

Do you just wake up and decide?

I didn’t get the memo

I need some more time

I can’t be on my own yet.

Can we please slow down the train

It’s going way too fast

I am starting to go insane

Please

Just a little longer
