Just a Little Memory

Rain, leaving little droplets in our hair

Our sleeves, the only thing protecting us

From the annoyance of the cold air

Silence, except the sound of rain meeting concrete

And the beats of song, from inside

Where we did not want to be

But I felt like I belonged as a tear rolled down my cheek

"It's okay to cry" you say

We both changed that day

That's the moment the fire grew more inside of me

And when the spark started it in you

Just a little memory
