Just A Man

So long ago a man gave his own

for a dark cruel world that cast him out

he now save's with his life

for that holy blood that was shed

paid the cost .

So long ago a man cried out in pain

as his blood poured down like rain

the tears he had shed

he found that calming peace

as he felt his fathers grace.

So long ago a man freed my heavy heart

from the darkness that now fades away

he washed forever away my passed buries

that I had hidden deep with in me.

So long ago a man i became to call my savior

was taking and raised again

though that loving grace

the veil was forever torn

on calvary's scared ground.
