Just a matter of time

Malachi 2:2 New English Translation (NET Bible)

2 If you do not listen and take seriously the need to honor my name,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will send judgment on you and turn your blessings into curses—indeed, I have already done so because you are not taking it to heart.

God is still the same. Even though the judgment is slow in coming

We know the season of Grace is still with us,

But judgment seems just around the corner …

Prosperity Preaching                    Satirical: Get used to it

Twisting words, changing ideas, for one’s own satisfaction

Doing what you want too, what appears good to your mind?

Then convincing others, and about everyone who is there,

that whatever you think seems good for each and every kind

The bible is always changing. It has to adapt to the times

Things are not like they once were, God will understand

As we are rearranging the meanings and the signs

For all who are here in this our “promised” land

God has to adapt to us and our way of reason

He has to be changeable while it is written: “He is not”

Why should He make a fuss and observe our treason

As compromise seems possible for His “elected-flock”

Once God made us and He formed us with His Hands

But now find Him “pliable” to our own wants and wishes

We will make Him thus to fulfill our every demand

For we know it is plausible and this is surely refreshing

A “god” for my own making who is there to please me

I’ve got it made for now and I’ll show Him what to do

No more room for faking, all blessings are now for me

All things work anyhow for the “very-elected” few

Narrow is the path so I will make it wider

Everyone can come with me to my chosen destination

Fat will be your pocketbook in the web of my spider

What will be, will be as I share the state of elevation

Yep! We’ll get it made as there are no hurdles left

Smooth sailing from now on for the ones who follow me

All have now a clean slate available for me and the bereft

Who are now in top form as they in my presence will be

There is no judgment coming for we will pass it by

I decided long ago that there is just no hell

No one left to summon for few will ever die

The only ones to know are mine as you can tell

Constant change determined to be a solid foundation

Shifting sand of thought cement the stones of our walls

A peace that we have earned girded by lack of determination

That the lie that’s bought delivers me from The Fall

All that’s now expected is for me to close my ears

The cries of the helpless are muffled by my desires

My temple resurrected in this world of my peers

We will judge the hopeless and deliver them to fire

What a mess we make but we will cover it with cream

In the appearance now made perfect girded by our blindness

It is now "give or take" for the corrupt and the mean

Who at their will select their victims with fake kindness

A little honey here or there will attract the flying masses

To be swatted and splattered at the first taste of this

Life is so cruel for the ones with the rose-colored glasses

As they are slowly fattened in camouflage and bliss

Judgment is at the doors and most these of our own making

Everyone is quiet for a moment except the sinful selected few

They bring all good to the floor to be trampled and forsaken

The greed here to flourish as directed by the hidden in the pew

Riddles of confusion dripping of their` hearts hardened walls

Formed in the past of the forgotten in their state of reprobation

Given over to the illusion that there really was no “Fall” after all

And there are none begotten through Christ’s gift of Salvation

Yep! One day we will know that there is no escaping

All will bow and kneel before the Designer and Creator

Judgment will then flow without any debating

To them with or without appeal to be judged forever
