Just Maybe

Maybe I should have found the right words to say, Though sometimes not a million words could do. People come into your life just to help you along the way, I guess I didn’t realize that until I lost you. You taught me that people aren’t always what they seem, And everyone’s hurting more than you’d expect. You taught me to not be ashamed to dream. Life and love are not always going to be perfect, But we must know that the love of God will always do. His love is patient and kind and never fails; He won’t give up on you, with Him you can make it through. Maybe we were just meant to cross each other’s trails. Maybe you weren’t meant to be mine, Or maybe you are; either way I know it’ll be fine.
