Just Me

Just a shadow in the darkness Just a body in the crowds. Will you ever find me? Can you come and find me now? But what if you cannot see me? Like I’m never really there? Do you really want me truly? Of this truth I’m really scared. The loneliness inside me Swells up and breaks my heart. Leaving me in invisibility, Tearing me apart. I can’t handle it, it’s over. We have let it come too far. I’m the shadow, I’m the owner, But don’t look it’s much too hard. So give up, now. Leave me alone. In this invisible misery Because the person that you might have known Is no longer truly me.
