Just Me

Let it go, let the world wash away. Taking everyone with it. Leaving me to be myself. All and only me. My lungs feel with empty air screaming. Loving being alone. All to me. I must be. that's all I can be. Not always what you see. You want my soul but you can't have it. It doesn't belong to you it never has never will. Got to put my jealousy behind me 'cause you're not worth it. You never were. I must be. That's all I can be. Only me. Not always what you see. Life's been crazy, spinning around, again, and again, and again. I was drowning, now I'm rising above it all. I must be. That's all I can be. Only me. Not always what you see. Me and only me is all you'll see when I'm done. I don't want to be somebody else anymore. All I want to be is me.
