Just Me

Look at my face.

Plain, simple, no makeup needed.

It’s simply me.

Just me.

No alterations, no changes,

No photo manipulation here.

Just me.

I don’t need to change myself

For you.

I’ll change myself if I want to,

But I don’t need your approval.

I’ll be what I want,

Say what I want,

Do what I want.

Just me.

I’ll live my life,

Dream my dreams,

And I won’t hide my face.

Won’t treat my pictures

With filters or shades.

My smile is mine,

My blemishes are mine,

Here’s my face,

Here are my curves;

They are real, untouched.

Just me.
