Just Like Me

The lightbulb in my room is going out.

It works for a bit and just flickers for awhile,

And when it starts working again it’s dimmer than it was before

I miss how it used to glow so bright, every nook and cranny were lit up.

But now it’s dark, and my room is a shadow of itself.

Just. Like. Me.
