Just for now

Just for now,

let's put aside our troubles

forgetting the future somehow,

and watch as our love doubles.

We'll just throw aside every negative.

This new imperative

will be our guide.

Not wanting acceptance

from those who haven't assurance

of who they are inside.

So no beam,

scheme,

dream,

can further separate our love.
