Just One

(poems go here) Just One Jade Hammond One eye Just one eye That's all it takes to see One eye to view the deep corruption of a land One eye to shed a tear for they who cannot stand One eye to give out light a voice cannot convey One eye to single out the true and honest way One voice Just one voice That's all it takes to lead One voice to stand out in a darkened sea of gray One voice to penetrate the never changing day One voice to tell the world the things that need to change One voice to rally up the beaten and the strange One hand Just one hand That's all it takes to help One hand to lead a prayer a million voices strong One hand to shelter good and stay all that is wrong One hand to lift a brother when he starts to fall One hand to raise the banner high above it all One heart Just one heart That's all it takes to change One heart to cry out when a voice cannot be heard One heart to understand the soul behind the word One heart to know the pain that hate and bondage bring One heart to carry on, and of freedom to sing.
