Just One Thing

There will be problems,
Big and small,
Our main concern,
Concerns us all.

The smallest thing,
In the life of one,
Is just one thing,
That can be done.

In every life,
There is a need,
To grow in love,
And thought and deed.

As we try to help,
We need to know,
That what we do,
Might not show.

As we try to help,
We’ll make mistakes,
We just keep trying,
And do what it takes.

As we try to help,
Don’t forget,
We’re seldom challenged,
By more than we get.

As we do what’s right,
We see it all,
And how a challenge,
Can be so small.

As we do what’s right,
We’ll always know,
And always have,
Some good to show.

As we do what’s right,
There will be one,
That sees how good,
Can be done.

With just one thing,
We’ll know in part,
The power of love,
We have in our heart.
