Just a Phone Call Away

She walks in my direction, A switch in her hips, head held high, Heavy purse on her shoulder. One hand holds a pink and white IPhone, The other a set of earphones. Long and slender hands, brown Like Hershey’s milk chocolate, Shove the electronics in the purse carelessly. I’m just a phone call away. Those generous hands, With the gold rings on each ring finger, Shift towards me, elegant fingers wriggling, Sugar with just a dash of spice. I’m just a phone call away. Those strong palms enfold my face. Soothing. Her thumbs rub my cheeks. Home. It’ll all be okay. I’m just a phone call and a couple of hours away.
