Just a Piece of Paper

Could it just be a piece of paper after all? Long nights, tears and frustration What can be a blessing can be a curse When no success comes after the tribulation Who am I to complain? Another college cry baby graduate Who couldn't capitalize on a career So on this desk full of dust, this degree shall sit Just the first of mama's children Sold me the dream, I bought it Trying to break the cycle All the ambition & determination, I got it What I lack is the chance Just the opportunity Caught in this world, But of course for no one is there immunity.
