Just Remember

I hope you think of me
as you are flicking through old movies
as you are kissing lips thinner
far thinner than my own
as you are hearing words that trigger
past text messages exchanged
as you are glancing across crowded rooms
with stories that leak from your dilated pupils
every time your ears detect something that
merely resembles my name
I just hope you remember me.
