Just Stop Talking

You would hear me

Asking you for help

Wanting you involved in my life

Or wanting to be with you

If you would just stop talking.

You would hear me

Wanting you to stop me

From leaving the nest

If you would just stop talking.

You would hear me

Wishing that things would be different

That I really wanted to stay

If you would just stop talking.
