Just a Taste

Let me taste one last note, let me taste one last breath.

Don't give me fake assurance, let me be.

I want to run and hide away, I want to be free and know no boundaries.

Give me a simple request, nothing more, nothing less.

Let me show the world who I am and what I can do;

they won't be disappointed.

I want to live my own life, be my own person.

I want to travel the world and not be afraid of what lies beyond.

Let me go, let me see what's out there.

Let me taste freedom, see love.

Let me feel the music course through my body,

Let me warm the sun in an embrace, I promise it won't burn.

Give me the opportunity to explore.

Do not cage me like a bird, trap me like prey.

I want to live my ilfe, I want to taste the sky.

To feel the grass, hear the wind,

Chase rainbows that are a corner away from dreams.

Let me live, let me breathe.
