Just a Thought

My body tells me to lean

My mind makes my eyes weak

And they don’t just dim, they shut…

She leans towards me too

Like our bodies asked each other to do a 50 each

And for those few seconds,

There’s a lifetime beauty in seeing nothing

But feeling everything

I don’t know if I do get it right…

I don’t know if I will ever do it right

What’s right is the excitement my body jumps in to

When she charges me to the side by each step she makes

She steals glances at me

Before she’d give me the usual alluring chuckle

Especially, when she notices how my real struggle is

I swear, sometimes… I can’t help but stare

Her sighting makes me want to sleep

Replay nostalgic memories we haven’t made yet

And not want to wake up

I crave for her in a good way…

I wonder if she does crave for me too

I wonder what it will be like waking up by her side

I wonder if I will ever let go this feeling…

I don’t want to.
