Just a Toy

A waste of time

That's what they said

"Just put it down, you'll bust your head"

Hours of practice

Trials and Tribulations

My elders thought

"All his time, wasted."

They don't know how this toy helped

A piece of wood and four wheels, making me feel well

I learned to see the world in a new way

New tricks are now colors of paint

My world is now a canvas.

I paint something new everyday.
