Just Upon Looking

Grey satin sunrise

so romantic it stings

valley of tanned rye

swaying to the echoes of the heartbeat

the pits of darkness

clearer than air

broken clouds

utterly common, but rare

cluttered marble palaces

electrified and stagnant

release all my hesitance

to chart the earth,

seize the unseen

for glassy visions, pixilated and pure

is all that I need
