Just What I Needed

Not everyone enjoys poetry.

Some tend to breeze by it

claiming, "Oh that's ancient".

"No one does that anymore".

While there are many lovely old poems,

we still have the same emotions,

we still face many of the same challenges,

and sometimes, 

these same words can still be just what we need

to pick ourselves off the ground.
