Just Words
These are just words
Its simply lines
I'm putting together words
And keeping on time
But sometimes things change.
And twists your whole life around.
One eighty.
But maybe
Someday I'll conquer hope.
And step on its chest and make it choke.
Its the little reminder of what could or couldn't be
Every thing you dreamed of.
One eighty.
It all suddenly changes and hope has you lost.
Sorry we were only suppose to look on the bright side but now all I see is
What could have been
What I made myself believe
What gave me my strength
Just tore out my soul.
Soul are you there can you hear me right now?
Soul, you're a lousy friend.
I've begin.
I'm living.
And I'll end.
Soul, do you stay with me
Can I depend
On you. Just you.
Stay with me till the end.
Honestly I've hid it all and blurred it
Out with the maids in my mind.
But one thing won't change-
I'm not leaving you behind.
Punchline there it was watch it go as
I add on my feelings and waste up
Your time.
Let's not forget that one voice that
Doesn't make a sound.
It just plays in your thoughts and
Scolds and stalks and blocks
Any thing that could be considered
A productive thought.
Peace.
Give it up truth isn't blind.
Quit hitting your own back
There's no mercy in mankind.
Peace its the hardest thing to create.
Yet the big man was suppose to make
It a while ago.
Try 2000 years.
Get the stupid out of your ears.
We're alone and I'm okay. You tell yourself that there's another way.
Sure flies run into the light and
Buzz.
Zap.
Fried.
Evolution is here to get rid of the ignorant guy.
Nope wait that won't work we've
Created a culture.
That ideals superficial people, who eat the killed.
vulture.
Yes we're all alone. Together forever alone. Tell your dead dog- call it's
cellphone.
I'm proud to say I can get in a car and drive down the street to have my whole
body beat
Into a bloody pulp
Because texting "LOL"
Was more important than my life.
We're alone together.
Together in strife.
We're so fucking ignorant
That we can't trust eachother.
But what's the difference between
Trust and truth.
Two letters I say.
And you say "proof"
Books don't teach you things they simply hold words.
Words that fit together and hold someone's hurt.
Make your words fit like a puzzle and keep them as thick as a damn.
Make them hold your thoughts.
They're the pearl in the clam.
Its the one thing anyone can make
But they do spread hate
And they do create
And they do intimidate
And they will grow stronger
And they will evolve longer
And I will progress
I've been supressed.
God, I've been supressed.
Seven years of being so called blessed
That mute voice that's stuck inside my thoughts
Tells me over and over that I'm not
Going to fit in I'm not
Going to relate.
I'll be the outcast.
The one that we hate.
Don't treat me like shit.
Don't ever see me that way.
I've got drive and respect
I'll show you one day.
We're all equal.
And by we not you just you and me
But the pears and the trees
The dogs and the fleas
Goddam you're so ignorant
The only thing that makes us equal
Is the fact that we live
We're biological.
And all here in the same forsaken planet.
So deal with it goddammit.
My favorite color could be your worst memory.
My best friend could be your worst enemy.
I could ruin your day and make mine
At the same time. All in rhyme.
Its not meant to be.
Its all meant to be mine.
