Just A Year Ago
I kept talking about the past
Although I live in the present
The world is advanced
I continue to learn new lessons
Just a year ago I remained clueless
On where to go with life
My mindset was ruthless
I had little care for the people around me
As if I was in jail
Or maybe even county
But once I dug deep
My feelings broke free
I seem to be growing
Like branches on a young tree
Recently I've found a passion
For music and production
I've simply learned to be myself
And ignore a distraction.
