Just Yesterday
Remember,
Still I am a child,
Young and Wild,
But don't hold me back,
I know my young years are numbered,
And it seems like just yesterday,
I slumbered in the crib,
Just yesterday,
Life has quickly taken away,
Like a flash,
a second to the world,
but remember,
I know my teenage years,
Are at a close,
And it seemed like just yesterday,
I would sit and laugh,
upon your lap,
when the day was at a close,
I know now I am a young adult,
and it seemed like just yesterday,
When I had my first crush,
and I made your heart halt,
But,
Just yesterdays will open,
and New tomorrows will arise,
and just think of today,
and how I look in your eyes
