Jörmungand

I’m sure all humans would repent

if he was real: the Midgard Serpent.

He lives in the sea and sleeps well

but if he awoke we’d meet a freezing hell.

The pollution of the ocean poisons the earth

and once he releases his tail we’d lose our mirth.

For his rest was ruined by too much trash

so deep in the sea his whole body would thrash.

Waves would crash upon the sand

when the giant Jörmungand slithered onto land.

Cries of fear would erupt from us

because we lost our superior’s trust.

Bringer of Ragnorok,

Loki’s second son is as solid as a rock.
