Kaleidoscope

Sun, 01/19/2014 - 12:14 -- jwaun

My life was like a kaleidoscope.

My hand gripped your's as we walked through the art fair that late May day.

Together.

Just like the pieces of the kaleidoscope.

I picked one up, put it to my eye, and saw an array of colors:

they were wonderfully bright, just like that late May day.

I miss that array of colors lighting up my life.

I miss you driving to my house to bring me my favorite flowers.

I miss your charm and charisma that never failed to make me laugh.

When it comes to you, my words aren't enough.

Because my words can't fully express the beauty of a kaleidoscope.
