Karina

Karina,

A life without meeting you,

isn't a life I can call mine.

Impossible.

You taught me what a kind leader is-

A real leader-

to be like you

I wished nothing more of.

Others need to feel the radiance,

I felt in you.

Yet what matters,

is not me being you-

but you shaping me.

I look for the positive in life,

I ignore the negative in those around-

then I try to fix it.

Knowing in the stress of this school,

everyone is scared.

You taught me how to focus on what really matters

and it extends more than navigating high school.

It's changed the wayI think about life.

For two years, I watched.

You inspired-

those you knew and those you didn't.

You were determined-

but also open-minded.

You knew what you wanted-

and never backed down.

You always took the first step-

others wouldn't.

Ahead of the game when it comes to yourself.

I couldn't have found a better person to admire.

Sometimes I question it,

the pedestal.

Too high-

too unreal.

But you,

you're too unreal;

like some form of goddess.

A perfect example

I logically know it can't exsist.

But I also know,

when I love you as a sister,

it's only expected.

And maybe,

despite the innate human flaws,

having someone like you in my life

has truly changed it for the better

With all of my heart,

thank you, Karina.
