Never spare a passing glance,
I am a lost soul of the eve.
Contempt is what is always felt for I,
What have I done to thee?

I am a specter of the night.
I haunt your shallow soul.
I lurk in the misery I detest,
Gazing to the light that is my goal.

Never spare a passing glance.
What have I done you wrong?
I've lurked in the shadows of the night
For much too, way too long.

I am a specter of the night,
An eternal reminder of what you did.
Such a young life you have cost,
I was only just a kid.

Never spare a passing glance.
Why did I meet such a cruel end?
Brutal remarks forever haunt and hurt,
I didn't have one friend.

You took some things from me;
My life, my promise, and all my might.
Now I pay you the same dues
As a victim, a Specter of the Night.
